Common refrigerator problems
Not cooling enough
The most common call we get. A fridge that runs but doesn’t stay cold is often a failed evaporator fan, dirty condenser coils, or a thermostat issue. In more serious cases the compressor itself may be failing. We test each part before replacing anything, so you only pay for what actually needs fixing.
Ice maker or water dispenser not working
No ice, tiny cubes, or a dispenser that dribbles usually points to a clogged water inlet valve, a frozen fill tube, or a worn-out ice maker unit. Quick fixes once diagnosed.
Leaking water
Water pooling under or inside the fridge is often a clogged defrost drain or a cracked water line. Left alone it can damage your flooring, so it’s worth fixing early.
Strange noises
Buzzing, clicking, or rattling can signal a failing fan motor or a compressor struggling to start. Some noise is normal — we can tell you which sounds mean trouble.
Frost buildup in the freezer
Heavy frost usually means the defrost system — heater, thermostat, or timer — isn’t cycling properly. We repair the defrost circuit so the problem doesn’t come back.
