Common oven problems
Oven doesn’t heat
For gas ovens the culprit is usually a weak igniter; for electric ovens it’s a burned-out bake or broil element. Both are straightforward replacements once we confirm the diagnosis.
Uneven baking or wrong temperature
Food burned on one side and raw on the other usually means a faulty temperature sensor or a dying convection fan. We calibrate and replace so your oven heats evenly again.
Oven won’t turn on
This can be anything from a tripped breaker to a failed control board. We trace the power path step by step instead of guessing.
Door doesn’t close properly
A loose door lets heat escape and ruins baking. Worn hinges and flattened door gaskets are the usual causes, and both are replaceable.
