Common dryer problems
No heat
A dryer that tumbles but never gets hot usually has a burned-out heating element, a blown thermal fuse, or a failed thermostat. We replace the failed part and check why it failed.
Takes too long to dry
Long dry times are often a clogged vent rather than a broken dryer. We clean the vent line and check airflow as part of the service.
Drum won’t tumble
A broken drum belt is the classic cause, but worn rollers or a dead drive motor can do it too.
Shuts off mid-cycle or overheats
Overheating that trips the safety shutoff usually means restricted airflow or a failing thermostat. We fix the cause, not just the symptom.
Loud squealing or thumping
Worn drum rollers, glides, or bearings make unmistakable noises. Replacing them is routine work for us.
